Dianne Hawkins, 68, of Beebe passed away Thursday November 23, 2023. She was born June 26, 1955, in Des Arc, Arkansas to Leroy and Florene Collins Moody. Dianne worked as a teacher’s aide at McRae Elementary School for many years. One of the many things that she enjoyed was working with the children. When not working with the children at school, she enjoyed spending time with her own family. Dianne was also of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Larry Hawkins, of the home; her son, Jay Hawkins; grandson Khylyn Hawkins; sisters, Debbie Whiting and Shelia Bailey; her mother, Florence Maples-Stout along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family. Dianne is preceded in death by her sister Pat Watts and father Leroy Moody. Visitation is scheduled for Monday November 27, 2023, from 5 to 7pm at Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. Services will be Tuesday November 28, 2023, at 10:00 am in the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy Chapel with Brother Keith Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Beebe.
