September 10, 1955 – January 27, 2023 DAVID VERNON HARNESS of Buckville/Jessieville, AR passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at the age of 67. David was the 3rd of 7 children born to Vernon and Freda Deuerling Harness. He was raised Catholic at St. Edward Grade School and Catholic High School for Boys. He is preceded in death by his father, Vernon A. Harness, brother, Timothy Lee Harness and Shanda Barnett Harness, the mother of two of his children. He is survived by his sons David Lawrence Harness, Mt. View AR, Zachary (Jennifer) Dixon, Beebe AR, Caleb (Courtney) Harness, El Paso AR, his mother Freda Harness, sisters Mary (John) Thomas and RoseAnne (Donnie) Smith all of Little Rock, brothers Larry Harness, Buckville/Jessieville AR, Jerry (Lisa) Harness, Gravel Ridge AR and Tom (Martha) Harness, Little Rock. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Arrangements are set for Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9th and Sherman, Little Rock, AR 72202 501-374-5767. Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m., Visitation from 11:00 -12:00. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 noon followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, 3115 W.
