Lloyd David Weeks Lloyd David Weeks went to his heavenly home on January 22, 2022. He was born in Austin, Arkansas on January 12, 1938 to Floyd Daniel Weeks and Nettie Mae Weeks. Lloyd was a member of Open Arms Assembly church for 60 years, serving in the church as a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, song leader, teacher, and many other positions. He enjoyed making people feel welcomed at Open Arms and most can remember the first time they met Lloyd. Lloyd was known for his corny jokes and his quick wit. He made family a priority in his life and was most respected by family and friends alike. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Alice Turner Weeks; two sons, Lloyd Dwayne Weeks (Rhonda) and Michael Lynn Weeks (Kim); four grandchildren, Trenton Weeks (Whitney), McKenzie Weeks, Crystal Masterson, and Travis Weeks (Amanda); seven great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Benaiah, Jaxtin, Teegan, Kayden, Liam and Amelia; a brother, William Weeks; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister Dorothy Johnson, brother James Weeks, infant brother Floyd Weeks, grandson Clinton Weeks, an infant grandchild, and an infant great-grandchild. Visitation was 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., at Open Arms Assembly. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
