Neil T. Smith, born July 29, 1947, unexpectantly took his final breath surrounded by his loved ones on February 15, 2021. At six months of age, Neil was adopted by Albert Neil and Mary Hanna Smith of Anniston, Alabama. He graduated from Anniston High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Susan Hutchison Smith. While on active duty he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Operations Management from the Little Rock AFB extension of Park College. He was a decorated veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Neil was an avid classic car enthusiast who could always be found at a car show with his red 1957 Chevrolet Belair or 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS. He and Susan were members of two classic car clubs, Klassic Kar Nutz of Conway and Cabot Christian Car Club. He also loved to collect all kinds of World War II memorabilia. Neil was predeceased by his parents, both sets of grandparents, all of his in-laws, and numerous other relatives. He is survived by his wife Susan, two sons, Thomas Smith of Cabot and Jason Smith of Austin, three grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Robert Holt of Beebe, Kimberlee Smith of Hot Springs, and Haley Smith of Monticello, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
