Tammy Suzanne Starr Waldron passed quietly at home on December 21, 2020 at the tender age of 57. Tammy was always the happiest person in the room! She could make anyone laugh, as she was the class clown and proud of it! She always had ‘that’ look on her face, you always knew she was about to burst into laughter. All of her adult life has been spent in England where she married her loving husband of 32 years, Steve Waldron, in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire County, England where she passed peacefully at home with him and their sons, Alec and Jeremy (Biggleswade), and her two precious grandsons, Jack and Nathan (Biggleswade). Tammy was a devout Christian and regular member and attendee at the Anglican Church in England. She had many friends among the congregations there, most recently at St. Stephens in Westminster, London where she helped out at many church events and lunches, supporting the activities of her husband’s involvement on the Church Council, and at St. Andrews in Biggleswade, a town she loved and always returned to after spells living in Surrey and more recently London. She regularly gave to charities for the homeless and Water Aid to provide clean water to the third world poor. She enjoyed the theatres, museums and art galleries in London. She loved gardening and reading and in particular poetry. Despite hating to fly, she travelled to Holland, France, Spain and had one particular holiday by rail and Rhine cruise visiting the Christmas markets in Germany she treasured as always with her boys. Tammy loved Christmas. She campaigned for the rights of children and was involved in a case that went all the way to the UK Supreme Court resulting in improved rights for children in care. Tammy Suzanne Starr Waldron will be missed greatly. She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents: Pauline and Grady Starr, Sibyl and Clyde Mitchell (Beebe, AR) . She is survived by her loving parents Suzy and Larry Starr (Beebe, AR), her brother Mark (Phuong) Starr (Torrance, CA), her loving husband of 32 years, Steve Waldron (Biggleswade England), her sons, Alec and Jeremy (Biggleswade England), her two precious grandsons, Jack and Nathan (Biggleswade England), her Aunt Sonia (Starr) Spigner (Beebe, AR ) and cousin, Angie Stroud (No. Little Rock, AR) who were like her sisters, and a large extended family and many friends from across the globe. In honor of Tammy, please think of a memory and have a chuckle, or plant a flower. This would be her wish for all of us as she is quietly laid to rest.
