What’s Left?

I hope you are having a great summer! The heat is on this week and it really feels like July. I am having cataract surgery this week on one of my eyes. The other will be done in a few weeks. I am looking forward to being able to see better. I am still amazed each time I put my contacts in and the ability to see so much more. Same with glasses – but for some reason it does not amaze me as much. I have several cats that need cataract surgery but I don’t think they do that around here – nor could I afford the surgery for the several that need it. This week I got my first chance at driving one of those zero radius mowers with the handles that stick up. Wow – that was different. I’m not sure that mower was made for someone who is lefthanded or is ambidexterous. I had to constantly think about what I was doing. It was sort of exhausting. It seemed a bit like riding a horse that wanted to gallop and trying to pull it back to a trot. Very strange. We’ll see if I can get used to it. Change is hard. Go to your happy place! See you (better) next week!
