Narcotics Arrests – Mayor Says “Zero Tolerance”

On April 28th, 2017 at 6:04 p.m., a Search Warrant which was obtained by the Special Investigations Unit assigned to the Office of the Mayor was executed at an apartment in the 600 block of Glen Lee Drive. The apartment was leased to Nathaniel Dewayne Carpenter, 49, of Beebe. Carpenter and five other individuals were present at the time of the Search Warrant. S.I.U. Detectives, Detectives with the Beebe Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and Officers with the Patrol Divisions entered the residence after the Lonoke County Emergency Response Team safely cleared the apartment. Nathaniel Carpenter was arrested for the following felony counts: “Possession of Methamphetamine with purpose to deliver”, “Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose inhale Methamphetamine”, Possession of drug paraphernalia with purpose to weigh/package Methamphetamine”, “Possession of the Schedule II Narcotic – Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen with purpose to deliver”, “Maintaining a drug premises”, “Possession of a defaced firearm” and a misdemeanor charge of “Possession of Tattoo equipment.” He is being held in the White County Detention Center in lieu of a $60,000.00 bond. The following individuals were present as the warrant was served and were also arrested on drug related charges. Brandon Eron Donovan, 27, of Little Rock was taken into custody for “Possession of drug paraphernalia – felony.” Donovan’s bond was set at $5,000.00. Christian Leigh Wilson, 31, of Beebe was arrested for “Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance-Oxycodone” and “Possession of drug paraphernalia-felony”. Wilson’s bond was set at $7,500.00. Joshua Christian Hackler, 26, of Beebe was arrested for “Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia-Felony” and misdemeanor charges of “Possession of drug paraphernalia” and “Possession of a controlled substance.” Joshua Hackler’s bond was set at $10,000.00. Tami Marie Hackler, 25, of Beebe was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of the White County District Court – Beebe Department, and on misdemeanor charges of “Possession of a controlled substance” and “Possession of drug paraphernalia.” Tami Hackler bond was set at $5,000.00 on the drug charges and $3,295.00 for the warrant. Mayor Mike Robertson stated that those who are involved in illegal narcotics activity within the City of Beebe need to know that we will not tolerate this in our community. There will be “Zero Tolerance” for all of those involved, in any fashion, who chose to put poison on our streets causing havoc and heartache for our citizens. The raid at 633 Glen Lee Drive resulted in 15 drug related charges, 10 of which were categorized as felonies along with 5 misdemeanor charges and service of an outstanding warrant.
