Good news for fans of the Beebe Badgers who are unable to make it to the ballgames.  Badger football will once again be broadcast online through the Beebe School District’s website, which is www.beebebadgers.org.  Returning for year number twelve as the voice of the Badgers and fifteenth overall in broadcasting is Shane Smith.  The 1990 graduate of Beebe High School will be once again joined in the booth by Jason Loyd and Donell Williams, who will provide color commentary.  Shane had this to say about the broadcasts, “I am excited about Jason and Donell returning to the booth this year.  I love what they bring to the broadcasts, as far as their insight and passion.  The three of us share the same goal of making the Badger broadcasts the best high school football broadcasts around.  We strive for nothing short but the most professional, positive, and passionate broadcasts around.”  Shane also remarked, “I am proud to announce that every week, we will do a senior spotlight, in which we will interview 2-3 senior football players per week throughout the season.  In addition to our shoutouts feature that we do at halftime, we will also do a military shoutout each week, as we will salute those who serve and have served our country in the Armed Forces.  I am also bringing back weekly coaches show, Countdown to Kickoff, which will air during our pre-game segment.  I will sit down with Coach Shannon and we will discuss the previous week’s opponent, as well as the upcoming opponent.  I am excited about the upcoming season and the broadcasts and am hopeful that the fans will get into the broadcasts and enjoy listening to them.”  You can listen on your smartphone by downloading the free Beebe Schools app and can also listen to the broadcasts on your laptop or desktop.  For those on Facebook, there is a Beebe Badger Football page in which you can post scores, information, pictures, and read posts by Shane and others.  Shane also added, “I am very thankful and grateful for the opportunity to be your voice of the Badgers.  It is a responsibility that I do not take lightly.  Jason, Donell, and myself are very appreciative to the Beebe School District, especially Dr. Belinda Shook, Superintendent, and Chris Ellis, Athletic Director.  We are definitely looking forward to this season and school year.  Go Badgers!”
