I hope you had a great Christmas holiday! I personally am glad it’s over. I know that’s a “bah, humbug” attitude but this year I just didn’t have that Christmas spirit. And I get a double whammy because it’s also my birthday. I’m really glad that’s over. From now on, my birthday is July 4th! Bring on the fireworks and warm weather! Can you change your birthday? I guess not unless you’re in a witness protection program - which, so far, I’m not. But we can pretend - on the birthday change. You know, life is just too complicated now. I have a need to simplify my life but how can you get rid of those technological things which you tend to rely on? I don’t think you can and still function in todays world.
But, onward and upward. Let’s look at the new year, 2010, and plan on it being a great year for us. I am very big on resolutions and sometimes I even keep them. This year I plan to focus on giving up non-healthy habits and replacing them with healthy ones and trying to be more time efficient. I also plan to finish projects which I have started (i.e. History book #2), cat video (that’s a video marketed to people with cats at home-I know that’s weird - but if you don’t have a cat at home that watches tv - don’t judge.) Those are just a few of my resolutions. I hope you have some good ones, too.
New Year’s is one of my more favorite holidays. I also enjoy July 4th! This New Year’s Eve we will go out to Moogollies and hear Tom Tirrato. I’m looking forward to that. Then we’ll go home and watch all that stuff - year in review type stuff - that is on various channels. I hope you have a fun New Year’s! Remember - don’t drink and drive! If you have a drink - just get someone else to drive for you.
Have a safe, happy, prosperous and healthy new year!
Go to your happy place!
See you next week (year)!
