New Construction Requires Traffic Changes on the Beebe Public School Campus

Dec 3rd, 2009 | By admin | Category: Education

The construction of the new Career and Technical Center will require traffic changes in the upcoming weeks for high school traffic. The new Career and Technical Center will be constructed between the 9-10 and 11-12 High School Buildings and is due to open in the fall of 2011. Due to construction, beginning on December 7th, the following changes will be made in traffic routes:
1.  The road coming into the 9-10 campus from the East (see map) will be closed at the intersection. Students and parents should use the temporary gravel road to visit the 11-12 building. Parents visiting the 9-10 building should take Badger Drive, located beside the tennis courts and enter the 9-10 parking lot from the West.
2.  New signs will be installed that will direct drivers to the new routes.
3.  Safety of students is the number one priority. The majority of the high school students have classes in both buildings. Therefore, we ask visitors on campus to be especially cautious when driving in the high school area. The school administration appreciates everyone’s attention to the new routes and thanks the community for patience as we continue to expand.
