Did you have a great Thanksgiving?  We did.  We kind of had four Thanksgivings. So, needless to say - too much overeating.  I’m going to have to do some extensive exercising.  But, isn’t that what the holidays are all about?  Well, no, but it is what we all do, pretty much. All in all - it was a good holiday with much good food. Hope you all enjoyed your holiday, as well.
My cats are adjusting to the new cold weather.  They are primarily inside even though they get to go out on the screened in porch. I usually put up clear tarps and put a heater out there but they actually like to experience the cooler weather. They can go in and out as they wish during the day so I let them do that - so far.  If we have a real cold spell - below 32 as highs for a period of time - I either won’t let them go out or I’ll put up tarps and turn on the heater.  I wouldn’t worry about it at all but invariably, the ones with  a cold will stay outside too long and it will make them sicker. So, I have to watch it.
I guess having the four seasons is a good thing although each year I start thinking about how good it would be to cut out the real hot summer part and the real cold winter part. But, they all serve a purpose.
On to other matters. I have two young black cats - boy and girl - that need a home. They are very cute and active. If you need a pair of kitties for Christmas, let me know. These two will make good indoor pets. See ad on Pg. 6.
This Saturday night beginning at 6 p.m. will be the annual Chamber Lighted Christmas Parade. Come out and enjoy the floats and get in the Christmas spirit. It will be fun!
Hope you have a great week!
Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
