Beebe PD Credited with 46 Individuals Pleading Guilty to 117 Felony Drug Charges Since Jan. 2008
Nov 12th, 2009 | By admin | Category: News and FeaturesChief Wayne Ballew reported that four additional individuals from Beebe have pled guilty to felony narcotics charges in the White County Circuit Court.
On November 3rd, 2009, Fayrene Michael, 54, pled guilty to Possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to deliver, namely methamphetamine. Michael was sentenced to 10 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC). On 3/18/2009, an undercover investigation by the BBPD led to the arrest of Micheal who was in possession of 6.27 grams of methamphetamine.
On November 9th, Parnell McGee, 44, pled guilty to four (4) counts of Delivery of Cocaine and was sentenced to 12 years in the ADC.
On November 10th, Geraldine R. Rowland, 50, pled guilty to two (2) counts of Delivery of Cocaine and was sentenced to 10 years in the ADC.
Also on November 10th, Donald W. Johnson, 40, was sentenced to 22 years in the ADC after he pled guilty to six (6) counts of Delivery of Cocaine.
Chief Ballew said, “Since January 2008, 46 individuals have pled guilty to 117 felony drug charges with sentences totaling 445 years. We at the Beebe Police Department will continue to pursue anyone dealing, using or manufacturing illicit drugs within this city. I have the full support of Mayor Mike Robertson and each member of the Beebe City Council in combating drug offenders.” said the Chief.
