Silver Oaks provides therapy and adult day care for clients with special needs.  The center is located less than 2 miles north of Beebe at 5140 Hwy. 367 So., McRae. The center offers adult day care which provides daily care and assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, assistance in eating, and even showers (at no extra charge) - if the family needs help with that.  They provide two meals a day and two snacks, two activities - some physical and some mental. The day care is paid by Medicaid Elder’s Choice - if the client qualifies, or private pay. Silver Oaks also offers outpaitent therapy for any age. Some of the conditions they work with are: autism, cerebal palsy, developmentally delayed, Alzheimer’s, Down’s Syndrome, hip fractures, knee fractures and replacement, back pain, Fibromyalgia, etc. They just need the doctor’s order for the therapy - which they can help you obtain from your doctor. Medicare will pay for the therapy or regular insurance. Silver Oaks staff will check your therapy eligibility with your insurance provider and Medicaid. Silver Oaks also provides transportation to and from your home.
According to co-owner Lisa Ruple, “Silver Oaks is the only adult day care facility in this area that also offers therapy.” This helps clients because they can come for therapy and their insurance will pay for the hours they are in therapy which will help defray the costs if they stay for the day care.
Their hours are Mon. - Fri. from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Ph. 501-726-8080. Staff members are: Lisa Ruple - co-owner,  Director and Speech Pathologist; Gidgett Bradford - co-owner, Administrator,  and Occupational Therapist; Marilyn Dangerfield - RN; Deanna Barnett- LPN; Tammie Coburn- CNA; and Donnel Housley-  Physical Therapist.
Contact Lisa or Gidgett for a tour of the facility at no obligation.
