White County Judge Elected Secretary/Treasure of County Judges Association of Arkansas

County Judge Michael Lincoln of White County has been elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the County Judges Association of Arkansas to serve a two-year term of office.  Judge Lincoln was installed into this position by The Honorable Paul Danielson, Justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court, during a ceremony held in conjunction with the County Judges   Association of Arkansas Annual Fall Meeting September 23-25, 2009, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center in Pine Bluff/Jefferson County.
The County Judges Association of Arkansas is an organization consisting of the seventy-five County Judges of the State.  The Association holds three meetings per year presenting information in the way of continuing education on national, state, and local issues pertaining to the more efficient operation of county government.

The other newly elected officers of the Association include Judge Jimmy Hart of Conway County, President and Association of Arkansas Counties Board Member-at-Large, Position Two; Judge Preston Scroggin of Faulkner County, First Vice-President; Judge Jesse Dollars of Greene County, Second Vice President; and Judge Mike Jacobs of Johnson County, Association of Arkansas Counties Board Member-at-Large, Position One.
