What’s Left?

We’re getting close to Spring Break for the kids. I think it is week after next. I hope you have your plans set for that time. This weekend Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 12th. Most people will set their clocks ahead (spring forward) before they go to bed on Saturday night. This is when we lose our precious hour of sleep – but we will gain it back in the fall. My wild cat – I believe she is part bobcat – loves pouncing on my hand. She will look at my arm and if I have long sleeves on, she will hone in on my bare hand. She doesn’t bite too hard but I do get some scratches. My cat doesn’t look like a wild cat but she walks different and acts different than all the other cats and kittens I have and have had. It has been a fun experience to have but I am thankful that she is not part tiger…I would have given her to a zoo. I am anxious for summer to get here and very thankful that we didn’t have much of a winter. I’m one of those people who just likes warm weather. I really dislike cold weather. I am happy to see the green grass. I hope we get some Martins this year. If you have some – please let me know. We haven’t had any in two or three years. I don’t know why. I don’t know if they have a different migratory path or what? Go to your happy place. See you next week!
