What’s Left?

Today (Tues.) is one of those days when you think about violent weather. It’s sunny and warm – after being pretty cool the past few days. But right now it is 77-degrees. There are predictions for some bad weather and we have a moderate risk here. We’ll see. I hate to think about that but it is that time of year. Right now – 3:52 p.m. we have a tornado watch in effect. Fingers crossed! Today, Feb. 28th, is the day that DeWitt Yingling will retire. His party is at Simmons Bank later this afternoon. I have to say that Dewitt is one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. He is always soft spoken and kind. He has been very active in the Chamber and Kiwanis and probably Lions Club. I have known him for years but cannot remember the number of years he has been in banking in Beebe. I will let you know next week when I run his retirement pictures. Congratulations, DeWitt! I hope you enjoy your retirement and I hope you get involved in politics in this city! Go to your happy place! See you next week!
