The Beebe Trap teams shot this past weekend at the AYSSP North Regional Tournament. The  Junior Squad finished 2nd and one Junior Squad finish 11th.

In the Senior Division  one squad finish in 2nd place.

There were 86- five person squads competing in the junior division. Their 2nd and 11th place finish qualified them to shoot this Friday at the state tournament. Little Maverick team members consist of Jacob Boyce, Cade Harlin, Blake Robertson, Tate Rogers, and Braden Healy. These young men broke 113 birds out of  a possible 125. Badger 1 team members consist of Dylan Harrington, Connor Goss, Scott Hundley, Ethan Chism and Slaton Daniel. They broke 98 out of 125 in their round.

Special recognition for Braden Healy for shooting a perfect round 25 out of 25 and  he will represent the Beebe Trap team during the Champion of Champion shoot after the state tournament.

The junior division was also represented by two other squads –  the Badger 2 team members are Zachary Adams, Alexander Burrow, Tanner Lehman, Weston Thompson and Brady Sims;  the Badger 3 team members are Andrew Barnett, Dillan Winspear, and Bryce Winspear. Although these athletes did not move on to state, we are extremely proud of their efforts. Keep working on the exercises during the off season and we will see you next February.

There were 121-five person squads competing in the senior division.  The Maverick squad representatives were: Noah Slaughter, Parker Gibbs, Derrek Newell, Sam Henry and Jacob Boyce. They finished in 2nd place earning them a spot at the state tournament on Saturday.  They broke 230 birds out of a possible 250.

The senior division was also represented by two squads.  “Badgers” finished just outside the top 16. The team members were: Dylan Bevill, Christopher Mosley, Kyle Roberts, Andy Spinks, and Kyle Mosley. Trey Daniel shot individually and for those of you that have never competed, let me just say it is extremely tough doing it as a team, let alone standing in front of everyone by yourself. We are extremely proud of their efforts.

If you would like to cheer on the Beebe youth during their venture for state champions you can join us on June 5th for juniors and June 6th for seniors competition that will be held at the Arkansas Game and Fish shooting complex in Jacksonville, located at 2800 Graham Road.
