Spring River WMA hunting Seasons Temporarily closed Beginning Jan. 5

LITTLE ROCK – White Tail Road on Harold E. Alexander Spring River Wildlife Management Area in Sharp County will be closed to all traffic Jan. 5 through March 31. Several wildlife habitat improvement projects will be completed during the closure.

All hunting seasons and mobility impaired trails, even for those holding a Mobility Impaired Access Permit, also will be closed during this same period. All horse and mule pleasure riding and organized trail rides are prohibited during this period.
