What’s Left?

Thanksgiving – it’s one of my favorite holidays. It’s not because I like turkey so much (maybe the dressing) but it’s because giving thanks for the blessings we have is so basic to experiencing a good life. Without gratitude – we are left empty and looking for more. We’ll never have as much as the “Jonses” – never be the smartest one, never be the most beautiful or the funniest. It’s just not possible so it seems we need to look within and see the good we do have and be thankful for that.

I hope that you have a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends. If you don’t have plans for Thanksgiving, we would love to have you come have Thanksgiving with us at Beebe First United Methodist Church located at 302 N. Main, Beebe.  There is no charge and we would love to have you come eat lunch with us on Thanksgiving day from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. You are also welcome to come by the church and get lunches to go that day.

On to other topics. Can you believe those Badgers!!!! Way to go! Going to the semi-finals against Wynne this Friday night at Wynne. Go Badgers! Beat Wynne! So I’m told, the Badgers haven’t gone to semi-finals since 1983! Let’s beat Wynne!!!!

Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
