What’s Left?

Last week I spent about 14-hours watching the 2-hr., 7 episodes of “The Roosevelts – An Intimate History.”  I really enjoyed learning about the years prior to my birth and tried to relate the times to when my grandmothers were born and later to when my father and mother were born. It was interesting to contrast the way people spoke, thought, dressed and acted in times past.  Times have changed- but we have to watch/read about things that happened in the past and recognize when they are happening in the present and future.  If you missed the series – I’m sure it will be aired again at some point or you can order the DVD on PBS.org.

On to other subjects, dont’ forget to register to have your cat or stray cats that you feed  registered to be spayed or neutered at the clinic on Oct. 30th. (See ad on back pg.)

I hope you are enjoying these cooler temperatures! Fall is officially here as of Sept. 23rd.

Go to your happy place. See you next week!
