Guilty to Delivery of Meth

Beebe Police Chief Wayne Ballew released the following information regarding undercover investigations and arrests by the Narcotics Section of the Beebe Police Department.

July 1st, 2014, Melisa Ann Goode, 34, of Cabot pled guilty to “Delivery of Methamphetamine” and was sentenced to 84 months incarceration in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. Assistant Chief Ron Lewis and Captain Eddie Cullum untilized a Confidential Informant who purchased 4.2243 grams of meth from Goode in the City of Beebe on December 13th, 2013.

July 1st, 2014, Jamie Eillen Glass, also known as Jamie Fullerton, 43, of Searcy, pled guilty to “Delivery of methamptamine” and was sentenced to 54 months incarceration in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.  Lewis and Cullum utilized a Confidential Informant who purchased 7.0385 grams of meth from Glass on January 2nd, 2014.

July 2nd, 2014, Brian Anthony Arthur, 35, of Sherwood, pled guilty to three (3) counts of “Delivery of methamphetamine” and one (1) count of “Use of a communication device” and was sentenced to 144 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections on each delivery count and 120 months in ADC on the communication device. The time is to run concurrent.  On October 26th, November 25th and again on December 18th, 2013, Lewis and Cullum utilized a Confidential Informant to purchase a total of 17.170 grams of methamphetamine from Arthur.  Proceedings in the White County Circuit Court will determine if Arthur’s seized 2005 Dodge Ram “Viper” pick up will be forfeited to the City of Beebe.   Chief Ballew said that persons bringing meth into Beebe for distribution were targeted as were individuals who were receiving the dangerous narcotic drug for re-sale. “More arrests are coming and related that undercover investigations are on-going” said Chief Ballew.
