White County Circuit Court Cases

Beebe Police Captain Eddie Cullum released the following cases which were adjudicated in the White County Circuit Court.

June 4th, 2014: Matthew Alexander Stillman, 19, of Beebe pled guilty to the August 27th, 2013 burglary of a residence located on North Holly Street in Beebe.  Stillman was sentenced to 24 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections for “Residential Burglary” and “Theft of Property”. Upon his release he will be placed on 36 months active probation.

Marcus William Carver, 18, of El Paso, Arkansas was the second individual charged in the North Holly Street crimes and he entered guilty pleas to the Circuit Court on April 2nd, 2014.  He also received the 24 month sentence and 36 months probation. Restitution was ordered by the Court to the victim upon their release from the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

April 2nd, 2014: Dustin Taylor Caldwell, 20, of Beebe pled guilty to the August 4th, 2013 incident at the Beebe Flea Market on Highway 367 South in Beebe.  Caldwell had stolen two handguns from a vender at the flea market and then fled on foot. Witnesses to the theft pursued Caldwell who discarded the property and begged the witnesses not to call the police and to just let him go. When told that he could not leave, Caldwell produced a knife and made threatening gestures.  He then turned and fled toward Wal-Mart. He was subsequently captured by members of the police department. Caldwell was sentenced to 240 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections for “Robbery” and two (2) counts of “Theft of Property”.
