ASU-Beebe Community Band Concert is July 1st

The Arkansas State University-Beebe Community Band concert will be held on Tuesday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Owen Center Theater, located at 910 Pecan Street in Beebe.

The ASU-Beebe Community Band members are from White, Lonoke, and Pulaski counties, and consist of students from the Beebe, Cabot, and Searcy high school bands; ASU-Beebe Music Department students; Upward Bound program participants; and area music educators.

The concert will include works by Richard Saucedo, Samuel Hazo, James Swearingen, and Arkansas composer Chuck Booker.

The ASU-Beebe Community Band is under the direction of Dr. Brent Bristow, ASU-Beebe associate professor of Music, and Bill Spainhour, a retired high school band director.
