What’s Left?

This is the big week for the Beebe High School Class of 2014 - graduation is this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at A.S. “Bro” Erwin stadium. Hope you all can make it. I think all the rain will be gone and it should be a perfect graduation night.

Sad news - I just learned today of the recent passing of a former Valedictorian of BHS -Dr. Jeffrey Evans. His obituary is in this issue. He was so accomplished and such a great guy. Our prayers go out to his family!

I believe - as you get older - you think more about the circle of life and how we are really only here for a short time. I see that every day in my cats - since they have a shorter life span than most of us. With so many cats - I always have one nearing that end time and since I am no longer taking any cats (no kittens, no nothing! don’t even ask) - I will at some date in the future - be down to just a couple of cats. That is probably about the day before I go. I know my family is hoping I don’t leave this life with lots of cats for them to take care of - and I don’t want to do that either. I love each and every one of my cats - and notice things every day that make them special. So they are a definite joy in my life.  I hope you have lots of joy in your life. Live each moment!

Go to your happy place!

See you next week!

Congrats, graduates of the BHS Class of 2014!
