Riverfest 2014 Three-Day Admission Half Price Advance Tickets On Sale April 1 At Walgreens NationwideApr 3rd, 2014 | By admin | Category: Entertainment
LITTLE ROCK (March 31, 2014) – Verizon will again serve as the presenting sponsor for Riverfest 2014 – Arkansas’s largest and most popular music, arts and food festival.
“For the sixth consecutive year, we are grateful to Verizon for returning as our presenting sponsor, said DeAnna Korte, Riverfest executive director. “In addition to their financial contribution, they pitch in with other attractions and countless volunteer hours throughout the festival weekend. An event of this size would not be possible without the support of sponsors like Verizon.”
The following musical headliners, as announced over the last four weeks, will perform at the main stages:
Bud Light Stage: Friday – Easton Corbin, Lee Brice; Saturday – Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Buckcherry, Three Days Grace; Sunday – Jamey Johnson, Hank Williams Jr.
Coors Light/Arkansas Federal Credit Union Stage: Friday – Chicago; Saturday – Salt-N-Pepa, CeeLo Green; Sunday – The Wallflowers, The Fray.
The festival is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, and will feature music and activities in Julius Breckling Riverfront Park, Clinton Center Park, Heifer International Campus and the vibrant River Market District in downtown Little Rock. Children 10 and younger are admitted free with a paid adult. Local and regional entertainment will be announced over the next weeks.
Advance tickets go on sale Tuesday, April 1, at Walgreens stores nationwide. These tickets are $20 for three days’ admission – half the cost of the $40 gate admission.
The advance ticket will be exchanged at any festival gateway for a wristband that can be used for admission into all three days of food, fun and entertainment along the Arkansas River.
“Again this year we are offering free admission to children 10 and younger to continue making this a great option for families,” said Korte. “The half-price ticket at Walgreens stores remains a tremendous value.”
Quantities are limited for half-price tickets, so the public is encouraged to act fast. Three-day passes sold at the gate will be $40. Tickets are now on sale online at http://www.riverfestarkansas.com for $35.
