Beebe’s New Library, Goff Public Library, is Open for Business

Beebe’s branch of the White County Library System, Goff Public Library, is now open. It opened Monday, Feb. 24th and will hold their official Grand Opening on Wed., April 16th at 3:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this historic event!

The new library has 6 public access computers, a separate area for children and young adult books, a public meeting room for children and adults programs and also is available for the public to use. It has about three times the space of the old library with Wi-Fi access, DVD’s available for rent for one week free of charge and e-books are also available.

The library also has a study room available for study and/or tutoring. Ramona Howell, branch manager of the library, said that foot traffic in the new library has increased by about 30% since opening. Also helping run the library with Ramona is Dee Grove, asst. branch manager and Julie Hall, library asst. Hours are Monday: 12 noon till 6 p.m./ Tuesday: 10 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.; Wednesday: 12 noon till 6 p.m.; Thursday: 10 a.m. till 6:00 p.m.; Friday: Closed; Saturday: 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.
