BHS December Students -of-the-Month

Jesse Kloss, a senior at BHS, is the daughter of David and Cindy Kloss. She is the president of the Beebe Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Jesse is also the vice-president of the BHS Band Council and is an All-State tenor saxophone player. She has participated in the region jazz and concert bands for the past three years, was a featured soloist in the halftime show and is a volunteer member of the ASU-Beebe symphonic band. She is a member of Beebe First United Methodist Church and participates in the youth praise band, 302 Main. Jesse has a 4.2 GPA and will graduate with high honors. Jesse just recently won Congressman Tim Griffin’s Essay Contest and will be attending President Obama’s State of the Union Address this week. She and her father will be traveling with the congressman as his guests. She plans to attend the University of Arkansas to receive a degree in music education while minoring in political science.

Erich-Matthew Pulfer is the son of Beebe residents Tony and Anita Pulfer. Born August 30, 1997, Erich-Matthew is 16 years old and a junior at Beebe High School. He is a first year member of Key Club and Youth Alive, a sixth year percussionist for the award-winning BHS band and looks forward to the possibility of the school developing a soccer team next school year. Erich-Matthew is an active member of First Baptist Church of Floyd and enjoys participating in youth group events. As an AP student with a 32 on the ACT, he plans to attend college after graduation to receive a degree in computer engineering.
