What’s Left?

Lots of stuff coming up for sports fans: Super Bowl is this Sunday and then Feb. 6th the Olympics! It will be fun to watch the Olympics.  I hope there is no problem with it being in Russia. We’ll see.  I wouldn’t want to go there in person but I do like to watch it on television.

As far as the Super Bowl goes - I like to watch the commercials - but it is hardly worth watching the whole game just to see the commercials. But I would like to see Bruno Mars perform at halftime. It’s hard for me to sit and watch anything that lasts more than an hour - but if I can be doing something else at the same time - I can do it.

I’m really tired of this roller-coaster weather. One day it’s 60-degrees and the next day it’s 25 with a -5 windchill. Really hard on the animals and I don’t think it can be too good on the rest of us. But - what can you do?

Tonight is the President’s State of the Union Address. We have one lucky/talented girl (Jesse Kloss) who is up there in Washington, D.C. with Cong. Griffin. She wrote a winning essay and was chosen to go on the trip. Her dad, David, has gone with her - and hopefully her mom got to go, too. Can’t wait to hear what a great time she had up there. I’m going to watch for her tonight when I watch the address.

We have so many talented young people here in Beebe - and older people, too.

If you look around at all the other places you could live - I believe if you factored in all the positives about Arkansas and Beebe - you would be incredibly glad that you live here. I know I am.

Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
