Remembering the Christmastime Snow of 2012

These are the snow-covered scenes from last year as residents of Beebe and the state awoke Dec. 26th to several inches of snow and some experienced power outages. The area received about 6 inches of snow.

Thankfully that was not the case this year as we had a few days of cold weather - in the 30’s-40’s and then a few days of 50’s. This is the weather that is much more typical of Arkansas at Christmastime.

These pictures show the beauty of the snowfall in 2012 - but the underlying hassel of driving and living without electricity is something we all remember.

As the headline said last year - “Let it snow, let it snow - let it go!”
