The “Fill the Truck” and Coat Drive was a partnership between Walmart, Beebe Chamber of Commerce, Beebe Fire Department and Beebe Police Department. More than $5,700 in monetary donations was collected ($674 collected on-site at the event at Walmart, $900 Walmart grant, $1,700 donated through the City of Beebe for the McAfee family and $2,500 donated from Stallion Transportation.)

The tractor trailer - which was donated for use by Stallion Transportation - was filled almost three-fourths of the way with donated toys and coats. All of the donations collected went directly to the Beebe Angel Tree program to benefit local children in need this Christmas.

The truck was unloaded at the Beebe First United Methodist Church where all the Angel Tree workers, Beebe High School AFJROTC, police and fire helped unload the truck.

A special thanks to all the workers and to those who donated to this worthwhile program. Merry Christmas!
