Truman Haskell Kelley
December 17, 1942 - December 11, 2013
Truman Haskell Kelley was born to Truman and Mildred Kelley of Mt. Vernon on December 17, 1942. After fighting cancer for two and one-half years, Haskell went to a better life on December 11, 2013.
He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School, ASU-Jonesboro, and of U of A, Fayetteville. Haskell taught vo-ag and shop for thirty years with twenty-nine of those years at Beebe High School. He enjoyed a hobby of his small herd of cattle at Mt. Vernon.
Haskell was married to Betty Mode Kelley and had lived in Beebe since 1967. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Bettinna Spelzhaus and husband, Curt, of Spring Hill, TN, Tracy Kelley and wife, Kim, of Manila, AR. He was a wonderful granddad to Aaron Spelzhaus (Erin), Colin Spelzhaus, Aubrey Kelley, Kalyn Harris and great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Harris and his sisters; Sandra Carter (Lawrence) of Mt. Vernon and Retha Pearce of Dallas, TX.
Funeral service was held in his honor on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR.
