What’s Left?

This week’s paper is our Christmas issue. It is very confusing to me because it will come out one week before Christmas. But the choice was to go one week early or a day late. I think I’d rather see the Santa Letters and the Christmas greetings before Christmas than one day or more after Christmas. Anyway - next year it will be better because Christmas will come on Thursday and that will work out better as far as our weekly newpaper schedule. So - please bear with us.

I hope you have all your Christmas shopping done. I don’t - but that is normal. I just can’t seem to figure out what I want to get people and I keep waiting until it’s almost too late. I need to work on that.

The Chamber parade Saturday night was fun. It was cold - but not raining or snowing or sleeting - so it was good. I know the parade was smaller than normal because it had to be postponed one week - but that’s just the way it goes. Hope you all got to get out and see it. I was surprised at all the little children along the parade route. Beebe has lots of little kids. I’m glad! They were all so adorable. They were waiting to see Santa!

Have a wonderful holiday and remember the “reason for the season - Jesus.”

Go to your happy place.

See you next week!
