On Tuesday, Dec. 10th, White County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two White County residents for allegedly robbing  Robert Bass, of Beebe, on November 2nd.

Rhonda Bishop, 36, of Searcy and Frederick barber, 28, of McCrory  were arrested for the crime and are being held in the White County Detention Center with a $150,000 bond each.

The search is still ongoing for a third suspect in the robbery.

On November 2nd, at around 10:30 p.m. sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Campground Road in Beebe for  an aggravated robbery report.

Mr. Bass told authorities that a white female had come to the door and told  him that she had car trouble and asked to use the phone. When Mr. Bass opened the door,  two black men with handguns forced their way into the home. They demanded money in a safe and Mr. Bass gave a small safe to the suspects.

The trio then fled on foot. A search for the suspects was unsuccessful.

Later, the White County Sheriff’s Department released an artists sketch of the suspects. At that point they got several leads which then led to the arrests of the two suspects.
