Guilty Pleas in Circuit Court

Beebe Police Chief Wayne Ballew released the following information regarding felony narcotics charges made by Beebe Officers and heard by the White County Circuit Court.

11/05/2013   Fredrick Lee Hughley, Jr., 50, of Beebe pled guilty to “Possession of methamphetamine” and “Possession of drug paraphernalia to inject methamphetamine”. On May 22nd, 2013, Investigator Josh Middleton (K-9) conducted a traffic stop on Hughley and found that he was driving on a suspended driver’s license. Further investigation by Middleton resulted in the seizure of 3.77 grams of methamphetamine and a used syringe. Hughley was sentenced to 30 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) on the possession charge and 18 months on the paraphernalia charge which are to run concurrent.

11/05/2013   Rebecca Lynn Harrison, 41, of England, Arkansas pled guilty to “Possession of methamphetamine” and “Possession of drug paraphernalia to inhale methamphetamine”. On August 10th, 2013, Officer Misty Goss and Investigator Josh Middleton responded to a complaint at a local motel regarding Harrison.  Further investigation resulted in the seizure of 0.1338 grams of methamphetamine and inhaling devices with meth residue. Harrison was sentenced to 60 months probation on each charge and fined $1,000.00.

11/05/2013   Robert Ellsworth Neal, III, 33, of McRae pled guilty to “Possession of methamphetamine with purpose to deliver” and “Possession of drug paraphernalia to package methamphetamine”.  On August 14th, 2013 Neal was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for an equipment violation by Asst. Chief Ron Lewis. Further investigation led to the arrest of Neal for the felony drug charges.  Neal was sentenced to 90 days in the White County Jail, sentenced to 96 months probation and fined $1,500.00.
