McRae Man Sentenced to 24-Months on Drug Charges

Beebe Captain Eddie Cullum reported that on September 3rd, 2013, Joseph Carlton Gibson, 37, of McRae plead guilty in the White County Circuit Court to “Possession of methamphetamine”, “Possession of drug paraphernalia” and “Furnishing prohibited articles in a correction facility”.  Gibson was sentenced to 24 months in a Regional Corrections Facility on each of the felony drug charges to run concurrent.

Gibson was arrested on April 27th, 2013 by Officer Justin Lee after a traffic stop for an equipment violation. Lieutenant Bryon Duke assisted with the arrest.
