The Beebe Veterans Monument located at the intersection of Dewitt Henry Dr. and ASU-Beebe Boulevard is a permanent symbol of the brave individuals who have gallantly served our nation. This monument, dedicated on Memorial Day, May 31, 1993 with 310 names originally engraved on it, has since had hundreds more names engraved on the stones. Each is a story of heroism and commitment to serve in a time of need.

American Legion Post 91 and VFW Post 7769 encourage all local veterans to have their names and service information permanently engraved on the monument. Family members who want to honor a relative can also request an engraving. All veterans’ names that have been added since last year will be read out  during the Veterans Day ceremony which will be held this November 11th.

Applications can be picked up at the Beebe City Clerk’s office at 321 No. Elm St. The engraving fee is $100 and applicants need to have their application and fee turned in by September 30th to be added in time for Veterans Day.
