Beebe Police Chief Wayne Ballew reported the arrest of an Arkansas Department of Corrections parolee who was wanted on narcotics charges and by the Arkansas Board of Parole for violations.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., August 7th, 2013, Lyron Lynn Johnson, 50, of Searcy, was arrested after Beebe Captain Eddie Cullum, acting on a tip, was accompanied by Parole Officers from Searcy entered a residence on Clinton Circle and arrested Johnson.
“He was hidden in a closet but did not resist arrest,” according to Captain Cullum. Johnson’s original offenses, for which he was on parole, included two felony drug charges and forgery. He also had three (3) active felony narcotics warrants held by the White County Sheriff’s Office for his arrest
