Beebe Police Chief Wayne Ballew reported the following information: At approximately 10:20 a.m. on Monday, August 5th, 2013, Investigator Josh Middleton stopped a 2000 Ford Expedition on N. Main near Center Street driven by Michael J. Ragsdale Jr., 28, of Ward, Arkansas. Investigator Middleton was aware that Ragsdale had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued for his arrest by the White County District Court-Beebe Department. Inv. Middleton arrested Ragsdale and during the process found Ragsdale to have possession of approximately 4 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine, one tablet of suspected valium and $448.00 in cash.
Ragsdale was charged with “Possession of methamphetamine for purpose to deliver and Possession of drug Paraphernalia”. He was taken to the Beebe Police Department where he was processed and then transported to the White County Detention Center in Searcy and held in lieu of a $15,000.00 bond on the drug charges. The $448.00 was also seized.
