Summer Pre AP Bridge Program for Seventh Grade Students Will Be Offered July 30th

The move from Middle School to Junior High can sometimes be a scary one, especially if a student is taking advanced classes. Enter the Pre AP Summer Bridge program. The Bridge program is a way to introduce rising 7th graders to the expectations and the rigor of Pre Advanced Placement (AP) Courses and to show them the value of the AP program, which continues into high school.

During this one day session, students will participate in interactive lessons with some of their future Pre AP and AP teachers, familiarize themselves with the Junior High campus, receive mentoring from current advanced placement students, and much more.  They will also receive an academic planner that can be used next school year.

The Pre AP Bridge program will be held at Beebe Junior High, July 30th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Cost of the program is $10 and a pizza lunch will be provided. Pre AP Bridge registration forms can be accessed via the district website at the Gifted and Talented link.
