Destruction of a MemoryJul 11th, 2013 | By admin | Category: News and Features
Recently a group of Master Gardeners, who help keep Daniel Park so beautiful, planted a small tree at the park. This tree was planted in loving memory of Paul Hawkins. Paul had been a fellow Master Gardener who had contributed many hours on projects aimed at making Beebe a nicer place to live. Sometime on Sunday, June 30th, a person or persons unknown destroyed this memory by snapping the small tree off at the ground. Needless to say, his friends are incensed by such wanton destruction. It would be very healing if the person or persons responsible would have the courage to step forward and take responsibility.
