What’s Left?

This is one of my favorite times of the year - hot weather, fireworks, long days, etc.  I don’t seem to find the time - or make the time - to really enjoy all that stuff - but occasionally I stop and appreciate the moment.  I have to make myself do that or I robotically go through life doing what is set before me as my next task to be completed. That’s not what I would recommend to anyone - but it has become somewhat a way of life for me at this time in my life. I know my life and the way I spend it is up to me - so it is truly up to me to change it if I feel it needs to be changed. So, having said that - I can honestly say that there are many things in my life that I would like to change but haven’t gotten the “plan” to do it. I’m sure, on reflection, each of you could probably say the same thing - but as the saying goes, “misery loves company” - it just doesn’t excuse us from changing those things which we do not like about our life just because so many people are in the same boat. I sound like a politician, don’t I?  You have no idea what I’m talking about other than changing something about my life - right?  Well, that is by design what I’ve been trying to say - no specifics (private) but just to let you know that I am reflecting on my life and wanting to “get better” in many areas. Not politicking - or not trying to….just trying to explain in an overview sort of way. I’ll let you know as I get a plan together as to whether I am succeeding. On that note, I do love Anthony Robbins - the motivational speaker. At one time in my life, I listened to his tapes so much that if I didn’t hear his voice everyday, I felt bad. Really somewhat addicted - maybe? Anyway, if you’ve ever wanted to change something in your life, he has a program for you. He is very good at what he does and could help you “get there.”

I hope you are having a great summer! Have a safe and happy 4th of July holiday and take some time to reflect on what this holiday means and celebrates - our independence!

Go to  your happy place!

Pray for the healing of Coach Bill Pruitt!

See you next week!
