What’s Left?

What a terrible tragedy that happened Monday afternoon at the Boston Marathon. It is sad that we live in a time when you have to risk your life to go to a public place - but as the broadcaster’s kept saying Monday night - “it is the time in which we live.”

It will be interesting to see who they find that did this horrible thing - planting and exploding bombs in two trash cans along the race route.  I can’t imagine what goes through someone’s head to come up with some heinous act like that - and then to carry it out. I pray for the families of those who died and for those who were wounded.

I believe when all the facts are found - we will see that it was a single bomber from the U.S. Maybe someone who had something against one of the runners or perhaps had not been allowed or capable of running in the Boston Marathon. Then again, it could just be some “crazy” who wanted to see people get hurt. But I do believe it was someone from the country. I hate to think that - but we have lots of people here that hate their own homeland. We shall see. It just behooves us to be more careful and attentive to what is going on around us. It is, as they say, the new normal.

I hope you all are having a good week and are making those fun summer vacation plans. It won’t be long. Also - good luck to everyone who is getting their garden out right now. Hopefully, we’ll dodge any freezing temps from here on out this season.

Go to your happy place.

See you next week!
