Central City, KY -Harold D. Randolph, 80, of Central City, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. Mr. Randolph was born September 26, 1932 in Muhlenberg County. He was of the Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He loved to fish, outdoor activities, gardening, and anything nature related. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maycle Randolph; sons Timothy T. Randolph and Harold Ray Randolph; brothers Herbert Randolph and Roy Randolph; and sisters Edna Massey, Wilma Cobb, and Naomi Cobb.
Survivors include his children, Dianna L. (Ted) Curtis of Central City, KY, Margaret “Faye” (Chris) Varble of Nichol Ridge, KY, Deborah A. (Steve) Shaver of Owensboro, KY, Charolette S. (Duane) Paquette of Beebe, AR, and Harold W. (Edna) Randolph of Ashland; brothers Carl “Billy” Randolph of Henderson, Franklin Randolph of Henderson, Terry Randolph of Sturgis, and Kenneth Randolph of Graham; sisters Della Carter of Robards, Martha Groves of Graham, and Ruby Cobb of Graham; step-children Brenda Reed, Jackie Welborn, Danny Graves, and Kathy White; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services was Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Sam Beeny officiating. Burial was in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville. Visitation was Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Western Kentucky Veterans Center Activities Fund.
