In 2012, First Electric sent Jacob deLinde of Lonsdale, Andrew Powell of Heber Springs and Madisyn Swaffar of Quitman on the Youth Tour.

“The part of Youth Tour that I enjoyed the most was that the trip brought most of what I have learned over the years in my history classes to life,” deLinde said. “Also it was a great chance to meet many other awesome people from not only Arkansas but the other states as well.”

First Electric serves more than 88,000 active accounts throughout 17 counties in central and southeast Arkansas. The cooperative is headquartered in Jacksonville and maintains full-service offices in Benton, Heber Springs, Perryville and Stuttgart. For more information, call 800-489-7405 or visit or
