WCMC Welcomes First Baby of the New Year First Baby of 2013 Born in New Life Center at WCMC

New Life Center nurses at White County Medical Center welcomed the first baby of 2013 on January 1.

Proud parents Jenna Cox and Dexter Callen celebrated the New Year by welcoming their son, Bentley Ray Callen into the world.

“We’re happy to have the first baby delivered in 2013 at White County Medical Center,” Jenna said.

Obstetrician Carl Vest, M.D., delivered Bentley at 8:37 p.m.; he weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces and was 18 inches long.
