Ashley Smith, (center) manager of the Beebe Fred’s store presented checks for $396.98 each to Beebe Fire Asst. Chief Rick Jackson (left) and Lt. Brian Duke of the Beebe Police Department Tuesday, Nov. 27th. The money will be used in the police department for their drug buy fund to help get drugs off the streets of Beebe. The fire department will use their money to help buy equipment. “We’re extremely grateful to Fred’s for both of these donations,” Lt. Duke  and Asst. Chief Jackson said.
