Each of these young people will be attending Arkansas State University at Beebe, in the Fall of 2012, one of the requirements for the scholarship. The Kiwanis Club awards these scholarships each year to seniors who will be attending Arkansas State University at Beebe.
Also pictured is Colton Dillon who received the Kiwanis International Earl Collins Foundation Missouri-Arkansas District $750.00 scholarship to the University of his choice. Colton is the first student from Beebe High School to receive this scholarship.
Funds for the Beebe Kiwanis Club scholarships are generated by your support of the Kiwanis Chili Supper on Homecoming evening and the Spring Pancake Supper. The club also sponsors a ring toss booh at the annual Beebe Fall Fest. They wish to thank the community for their support to make these awards available to our deserving young people.
Please support the Beebe Kiwanis Club annual Chili Supper on October 5, 2012 coinciding with Beebe High School Homecoming festivities. The supper will take place at the Junior High School Cafeteria from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Ticket costs are $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for elementary age children with children under 6 years of age free. The all you can eat meal consists of homemade chili, beans, chips, cheese, apple crisp for desert, and a drink. The meal is prepared by the cooks of Beebe School District.
Tickets may be purchased from any Kiwanis member, Beebe High School Key Club members, Beebe Schools Central Office, Centennial Bank on Highway 64 and First Security Bank on Dewitt Henry Drive. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. We encourage Class Reunion groups to join us at the Junior High Cafeteria on October 5th to celebrate good times without the hassle of food preparation and clean up.
