Huge Crowd Attends Funeral of Fallen Hero

- As the time for the funeral approached Saturday afternoon, the church parking lot was full of family and friends as Patriot Guard Riders helped direct traffic.
- Bikes were parked everywhere as the Patriot Guard Riders came out in force to support the family of Sgt. Swindle.
- People lined the driveway of First Baptist Church with American flags awaiting the funeral procession Saturday afternoon.

- Bikes lines the auxiliary road to the west side of First Baptist Church from Hwy. 64 right up to the church.
Hundreds of people lined DeWitt Henry Drive and out Hwy. 64 W. to First Baptist Church to honor and support the family of fallen hero Sgt. Jason Michael Swindle who died Sept. 20, 2012 when insurgents attacked his vehicle with rocket-propelled grenades in Panjwa’l, Afghanistan.
Citizens of Beebe lined the street waving American flags as the family passed. Patriot Guard Riders and other motorcyclists were there in force as approx. 1200 bikers - the most ever at one military funeral, according to a Patriot Guard member - lined the highway and the entrance to First Baptist Church.
