What’s Left?Aug 30th, 2012 | By admin | Category: Opinion
Well, as I sit here writing this (Tues.) - Hurricane Isaac is headed toward New Orleans. It is only a Category One - thank goodness - but it is possible it will do much damage in the way of flooding waters. We, here in Arkansas, are expected to get several inches of rain on Thursday or Friday. We desperately need the rain and will gladly take it (no choice) but would love for it to come over several days rather than in one day. But we shall see. Hopefully this hurricane will do minimal damage and give lots of us some needed rain and get the rain gauge back where it belongs around here. I was so glad that the Hurricane has not strengthened any more than a Cat One and that it didn’t head straight for Gulf Shores. They sure didn’t need another hurricane - nor does New Orleans but if you can have a Cat One - that is your best chance of coming out with minimal damage. Pray for our neighbors to the south that their homes, business and lives will be spared.
Go to your happy place. See you next week!
