What’s Left?

Well, the Olympics are over - finally. I say that because, really, could you believe how long the opening ceremony was and then how long and somewhat confusing the closing ceremony was?  Do you say, “That was so British?”  I don’t know - but I did watch many, many, many hours of Olympic coverage of swimming, gymnastics,  rhythmic gymnastics, diving, rowing (or whatever they call that) and some other assorted things. I did not watch much of the track and field or the basketball or tennis. I don’t really know why - but I guess you can only watch so much and then you just get burned out - although I pretty much was always doing something else while I was watching it. I can’t just sit and watch tv without being involved in something else - except for a few critical minutes - depending on what you’re watching.

It was a great Olympics and the British should be very proud of the whole event - as I’m sure they are. I’m so glad we got through it without any terrorist situations.

I’m glad we are having a little let up in the high temperatures and we got a little rain Monday night. Things are getting better!!!

If you ever need a website which gives you lots of products to help with disabilities it is abledata.com. It has an incredible amount of information. A friend passed it on to me to share with you.

I hope you are having a fun last few days of summer!

Go to your happy place!

See you next week!
